Help us collect donations and raise awareness for the Terry Fox Foundation, which works to collaborate and inspire people around the world to support and fundraise for bold, extraordinary research to end cancer.

Our Silver Fox Walk Event is an extension of the Annual Terry Fox Run.  As of August 19, 2024 PWLPA Silver Foxes (Residents) and family members can start fundraising to go towards a collective donation from PWLPA. 

Donations will be due September 6, 2024 by 3:00pm.  We will announce at our Silver Fox Walk on September 8, 2024 how much we have raised!

Fundraising

Fundraising tables will be set up on the following dates next to the Bistro here at PWLPA (cash or cheque only):
Saturday, August 24 – 10:00am – 2:00pm
Saturday, August 31 – 10:00am – 2:00pm
If you are unable to hand in your donations at the tables on those dates, please contact the front desk as they will be collecting at all times from August 19 – September 6. Donations can also be made online at https://run.terryfox.ca/team/pwlpasilverfoxes. 

Silver Fox Walk Event

Date: Sunday, September 8, 2024
Time: 10:00 am
Theme: Wear silver, white or grey
Location: Meet in the Courtyard at PWLPA
Details: As a group, we will walk n’ roll together along an approximate 2km walk. 
PWLPA is working on acquiring borrowed wheelchairs for the event, so everyone has the chance to participate.
